§ Frequently asked

Questions we get often.

Plain answers about pricing, timeline, ownership and how the studio actually operates. If yours isn't here, just ask.

01How much does it cost to build a website with Siam&co?
It depends on scope, number of pages, custom components, integrations (CMS, payments, auth) and the depth of design work. We tailor every project to your goals and your budget, and send a clear costed proposal after a 30-minute scoping call. No hidden fees, no surprises.
02How long does it take to build a SaaS product?
A focused MVP, auth, dashboard, three core features, basic infrastructure, typically takes 2 to 4 months end to end. A full product with billing, admin tooling, integrations and polish runs 4 to 8 months. We work in weekly increments on a staging environment, so you see progress every week instead of waiting for a big reveal.
03Do you work with international clients?
Yes, most of our clients are based in Europe or the US. We operate in English, Thai and French. The Bangkok + Paris setup means we cover European working hours and Asia simultaneously, with a few hours of overlap each morning Paris time.
04What's your tech stack?
Mainstream and battle-tested. Web: Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres, Stripe, hosted on Vercel. Mobile: SwiftUI for iOS, Kotlin for Android, React Native + Expo for cross-platform. Design system: Figma. CMS: Sanity or Payload depending on the project. We optimise for shipping fast and maintaining well, not for chasing the newest framework.
05Who owns the code and the design?
You do, fully. We deliver source code under a transfer-of-IP clause in the contract. The repository, the design files, the credentials, everything you paid for is yours. We may keep anonymised case-study rights for our portfolio unless you ask otherwise.
06Do you handle maintenance after launch?
Yes. Most clients keep us on a retainer post-launch, usually 1 to 4 days per month, depending on the iteration pace. We also offer one-off interventions if you only need occasional updates. Either way, we keep the institutional memory of your project so you're not paying us to rediscover decisions made earlier.
07Is the contract fixed-price or time and materials?
Both options are on the table. For well-defined scopes (websites, redesigns, fixed features) we work fixed-price with milestones. For evolving products (SaaS, iterative builds) we work in monthly retainers or time-and-materials with a soft cap. We always tell you which one is more honest for your situation upfront.
08What happens if the project changes mid-way?
Common, and not a problem. For fixed-price work, we use a change-request mechanism: any scope addition gets quoted separately and you decide before we proceed. For retainer work, scope is naturally fluid month to month. Either way, you'll never get a surprise invoice at the end.
09Can we see references from past clients?
Yes. We'll connect you with two or three previous clients on request, they're happy to talk about how it went, what we did well, and what they'd watch out for. We think this is the single best diligence step you can do before signing.
10Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, standard NDAs are fine. Send yours during the scoping conversation and we'll review and sign before any sensitive material is shared. If you don't have a template, we have a mutual NDA we can send you.
